I am surprised that in the poll Ficus retusa was not included.
(By my own observation) almost all club members of the Arecibo chapter of the Puerto Rico Bonsai club have at least one of the F. retusa, F. nerifolia, F. microcarpa 'green emerald', and F. retusa 'tiger bark'. |

My first choice is Tiger Bark. Second would be "Too little" Benj. I have had really good luck and have had the most succes in the shortest time with these two types of figs. I have a nerifolia as well, but it still has a ways to go before it catches up to the others.
