pistachio trees

hi

i am just starting out Can you grow pistachio trees from seed as future bonsai any help would be great thanks

and can you get the seeds from the nuts on a supermarket shelf

I have never heard of a pistachio bonsai. I do know that if they could become bonsai then you could not grow them from seeds that they sell at a grocery store.

Pistachio is a very popoular bonsai plant in Asia, however the pistchio nuts are highly unlikely to be a viable seed.
