Greetings,
I know this is a tropical forum, but I thought I'd throw a non-tropical question out there to see if I could get some info. I use a small fridge to give dormancy to delicate things that can't take my winters. My dilema is that I have a maple that, in the dark, cold fridge, just had a bunch of buds pop open. I had wanted to style it a bit before it broke dormancy. Now that its started to leaf out, is it too late to work on it? I had wanted to trim it back, but the main places where leaves have started to open are at the end of the branches I wanted to trim back.
When I saw the buds popping open, I took it out and put it with my tropicals under their lights. Just not sure what else I can do until I can put it outside. My main experience has been tropicals - this is one of my first attempts at a deciduous tree.
Thanks for any info,
-Centaura
