Green Emerald is a F. microcarpa. Should this be included in with that?

With all due respect to members, What really amazes me is the lack of Ficus diversity that growers have around the US and Caribbean. I must say that Microcarpa et al are excellent varieties but not the be all and end all. From my experience in Australia, microcarpas are popular though definitely not number one here. That goes to F. rubignosa aka the Port Jackson. Another variety that members really should attempt to source for future material is F. obliqua (eugenioides) it has ecellent aerial roots and a very small leaf.
I find it hard to believe that they dont commercially exist!
Thats my 2 cents worth - go find'em

Port Jackson fig - F rubiginosa. Living on the shores of Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour) it is the obvious choice

I am surprised that in the poll Ficus retusa was not included.
(By my own observation) almost all club members of the Arecibo chapter of the Puerto Rico Bonsai club have at least one of the F. retusa, F. nerifolia, F. microcarpa 'green emerald', and F. retusa 'tiger bark'.

My first choice is Tiger Bark. Second would be "Too little" Benj. I have had really good luck and have had the most succes in the shortest time with these two types of figs. I have a nerifolia as well, but it still has a ways to go before it catches up to the others.
